Objective: Assist in the effective management, control and reporting of the firm's finances and assets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Firm and trader daily PNL reporting

  • Addressing questions from traders and management regarding trader daily PNL and expense allocations
  • Preparing and reviewing the firm's financial results for internal and external reporting purposes (regulatory, audit, tax and budget)
  • Assisting the CFO and other finance members in daily, monthly and annual accounting and finance matters
  • Documenting and implementing existing and new financial reporting and operational practices, policies and procedures
  • Preparing and analyzing various revenue and expense accounts and other general accounting
  • Verifying accuracy of accounting records and analyzing discrepancies
  • Cash management, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining banking account relationships
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of departmental budget reporting and forecasts
  • Reporting the organization's finances to management, and offering suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
    • Monitoring and assessing finance processes to identify areas for more efficiencies or best practices
    • Participating in the enhancement and development of firm's internal accounting software and practices
  • Communicating effectively to the CFO and other members of senior management on all issues 


  • 3-5 years of recent public accounting and industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree from top university
  • Quickbooks Accounting Software and Excel experience
  • Licensed CPA or passed the CPA examination preferred
  • Series 27 preferred, but not required
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility to work under tight deadlines, strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others
  • Outstanding record of achievement in current/past positions
